There was an article on today's Infopackets Email Newsletter that might of interest. It seems that Microsoft has delivered what's referred to as a "devastating blow" to the botnet that is supposedly responsible for originating a major chunk of the spam and malware generated world-wide. They apparently did it by shutting down the domain names of the infected computers that were being used
